Tomorrow Never Knows

 

On Monday the 12th May, an earthquake of magnitude 7.9 hit the province of Sichuan. An estimate of 34 000 people are dead, but this number is rising dramatically as rescue teams reach the most affected areas. China has begun a 3 days of national mourning for the victims this Monday. At the exact time of when the quake struck, people all over China have dedicated three minutes of silence to the victims.

 

MSN China has started a MSN Messenger campaign allowing all people who have MSN Messenger to express their prayers and blessings by adding a rainbow in front of their MSN pseudonyms.

According to MSN, the rainbow represents hope and a good things to come: "We [MSN] believe that there is always a rainbow after the wind and rain."

 

So add a rainbow simply by writing (R) in front of your pseudonyms. Each rainbow will donate 0.20 yuan. All ready, around 541 000 yuan has been raised.
